Source found for repair of Atwood Levelegs controllers
This post is for my fellow RVers with problems with their Atwood Levelegs.
After searching for long time for a replacement at salvage yards and surplus dealers to no avail......I have found a source for repair of controllers and key pads. They say normal turnaround is 5-10 days.
I have no affiliation with this company, nor have I yet sent them my controller and key pad for repairs.
As I have not used their service, this is not an endorsement, just FYI.

i fought the Atwood battle for a year and just wasted money. Had a jack go out and decided to bite the bullet and replace the entire syatem with hydraulic jack system from Equalizer Systems.
I had their system on my older Class A and it worked flawlessly so I just ordered an Equalizer system this morning.
They are the ones who manufacture Bigfoot's systems.
https://equalizersystems.com/equaliz...or-motorhomes/ I highly recommend these folks.

M&M RV Electronics also rebuilds Atwood controllers. Located in Ohio City, OH. 419-965-3014. mmrvelectronics@yahoo.com
They just rebuilt mine and I'm very happy with their service and friendliness.

Another source is https://www.gamainc.com
Explain that you need a 4 channel motor control with reverse contacts

I had understood that Quadra makes the BigFoot. Not a big deal, I suppose, as long as the cylinder is a two-way so you don't have the problem of weak return springs.

Might be Quadra I was just guessing since they look identical. The Equalizer is a pressure up and pressure down system. No springs involved.
I am just happy to be scrapping the Atwood system.

I did not do the installation of my new Quadra Bigfoot. However, I wish I had - or at least had driven to the factory in Michigan and had them do it.
I went to a large dealership near Spokane (40 service bays) and had a shlock job performed by a tech that didn't even know how to select proper screws/bolts.
I ended up selling my pseudo-troublesome Atwoods and covered the installation charges - but still shelled out the $4K+ cost of the Bigfoot.
They work great! No more fiddlin' with pads, clutching jacks, etc. etc.
