Southeast Financial

Has anybody used Southeast Financial to get a loan on their MH, I am considering a 2003 RV with a price tag of $25,000 with $12500 being put down, looking to get the rest through them-hoping to get some positive feedback on them--Thanks Rich

Go find a local credit union and join them.... almost all of them are non-profit and are there to serve their members...

My experience years ago was a credit union provided the same services on a loan for almost $120 a month less payment for a 60 month term than my local bank... and my banker was upset I'd take my business to the credit union...

Just my thoughts....

Our credit union has a 10 year rule and will not finance any vehicle older than10 years old, including MH’s.

I used SE when I purchased our 2004 RV. The pricing and terms were better then banks and CU which would not do the loan anyway because of the age. The process is very time consuming and don’t expect a quick close. It will take about three weeks. BTW my FICO score is above 800, so credit quality was not an issue. Would use again.

We found joining and using a credit union was a much better deal. About 1.75% less than the best bank rate we could find.

We used them, got a better rate than any local CU or bank, and there was no drama with payments or payoff (getting title back quickly). I would use again if needed.

I used them. Just be aware they are not actually the bank!! I was having problems getting some document issues handled so I looked up SE Financial and found them to be in Nashville TN. Since I was going to be in Nashville the next day I thought I'd just drop by and work it out in person. What I found was an office building with no markings to say what kind of business it was. They are on the second floor and you have to use a stairway on the outside of the building to get to their door. The big heavy steel door has no window and is locked. You have to call in on an intercom system and they have to buzz you in. There are security cameras everywhere! They finally let me in and you could tell they WERE NOT used to having customers "drop by". They were very nice to deal with but after seeing the operation in person it made me wonder why the need for all the security?? How many pissed off customers do they have???? lol.
