Bought a 07 Windsport 31d noticed there is no spare tire everyone i talked to said you hopefully wont need one. Guess what second trip got wrapped up with a guy that jackknifed his trailer and blew a tire. So I waited for hours for a replacement tire this will never happen again. I bought 2 new tires took the other slightly used one bought a spare rim from Les Schwab 136.00 and made a easy bracket under the back half the frame is 35 inches wide with a 4 inch lip that turns in at the top a 2457019.5 is 32-33 inches so I pressed the tire up into the frame rail the top lips hold it in place at the top and then I took some 1/4 inch stock steel OSH 11 bucks each and pretty much trapped the tire and rim in place I then used a good solid piece of chain that I wrapped around the frame rail and I torqed that down with a turn buckle works like a charm. Then I got a 12 ton bottle jack and a 3 foot breaker bar with the sockets I need. Now hopefully I will never need it.

Check the torque specs for the lugs on your rig , three foot may not be long enough. B-in-laws Wookhorse torque was 425 ftlbs. If your next flat is an inside dual wait for help! May-be jack stands too.
Since I mounted the spare and went through all the trouble to get the necessary tools I did a test tire change the 19.5 are indeed heavy 75 pounds or so but hey I managed to wrestle the thing in place. At least in my sideyard side of the road may be a bit more of a adventure but what the heck I bought this latest rig to have some adventure.
