Speed-Co lube service great deal

While in I-40 eastbound in Milan, NM i stopped at Speed-co and had the coach chassis lubed and the fuel filter, and the fuel water separator replaced. Very quick and professional staff, in and out in no time at all and $55.39 out the door was the best part. Just thought i would give a kudos for a great service at a great price, and let the forum know my experience...

Thanks for the information. All too often the only things we hear about a business are bad. Speedco is where I plan to have all my normal chassis maintenance performed.

Think there is a typo there. Normal medium diesel is about $155 for LOF.....or maybe he had a super coupon.

I just brought our coach to Speedco on Friday and had it serviced. Had the engine oil and fuel filters changed, generator serviced (oil, fuel and oil filter) chassis lubed, inspected for air leaks, checked tire pressure and axel fluid added. This is the second time I used them and they provide a good service at a great value. All for $229 which I see as a value.

The do no service automatic transmissions, however, they will check the fluids and give you an information on what it may need.

Some people say not to go there as its the Jiffy Lube of truck stops, however, there were two $750K coach's in line to be serviced as well plenty of long haul truckers who vehicles are much more complex that our coach's and require more expertise.

If you note that the writter didn't have the oil changed, he only had the chassis lubed and filters changed.
I have used Spedeco as well and think they do a good job. I will use them again.

They do on sight oil analysis, i had just done the oil change a few hundred miles prior just the chassis and filters this stop. Will use them again when fluids need to be changed.

I have been using TA for a while now. They have a Mid Range (6 to 7 Gal.) engine oil change that suits an 8 liter engine or smaller for around 200$ that includes filters and checking boxes. You also can get a coupon for dinner. Bob T

Is this a "show-up" and get in line type service? What is the average wait for oil change and fuel filter change once you're in the bay? Their prices look very competitive on the web site.
