Speedco Oil Change

Just had my oil changed on my 2004 Endeavor which is a diesel coach which can be costly at some shops.

I will not do it my self do to the mess that is made and the wife does not like any stains on the driveway.

The Endeavor also has a rock cage that has to be removed to access the oil fliter.

Given the above off to Speedco drive thru oil change coast to coast no appointment required.

Speedco had all the filters but one which I knew they would not have so I brought my own.

The coach took approx 22 qts of Shell oil, changed the two fuel filters, oil filter , checked the axle oil, lubed the chassis, lubed the driver shaft ,lubed the jacks, lubed any brake camber with grease fittings, lubed the suspenision, checked the air filter, changed the oil with oil fliter and fuel filter on the diesel generator ,check air pressure in tires and advised.I had a new air dyier filter and they agreed to put it on at no charge. Also checked the antifreeze.

Cost was $302.00 . They also gave me a credit of $5.00 for my bringing in my own fuel filter. If they air up the tires they will charge you.Took about one hour and three people working together.

Been very pleased and they are near the highway.

I had my 2004 Endeavor done at Speedco as well. My bill was $385.03 which included the air filter and an oil analysis so I'm right in line with Robert T on the price. I was pleased with the service and they had 4 people working on mine.

And if you tell them you are a member of FMCA, they will give you a discount. Not much but everything helps.

So, when I got mine done at the Freightliner dealer for $292, it wasn't such a bad deal after all!

To change the oil(17 qt) and filter in mine. Plus the 2 fuel filters.
Generator filter with synthetic oil plus grease the chassis.
Cost me a total of $138.51 And I don't have to drive it anywhere or make a appointment. I also know no grease Zerk was missed.

I do it myself and with the money saved I can take myself out for several lobster dinners.

If the wife doesn't like oil stains on the driveway go to Lowe's or Home Depot and get a roll of heavy duty plastic.

Speedco in Denver don't have experience with pushers...

I was not impressed, had to bring several of my own filters, they broke the cap of my hydraulic reservoir, couldn't get to my onan fuel filter, and it took 4 hours. ANd they still charged me $250

I won't be going back anytime soon
