Splendide dryer not drying

Our Splendide stackable washer/dryer dryer is not heating. It runs and tumbles but does not heat. Hard to find a mobile repairman that wants to work on it. Anybody have this issue and a possible quick fix?

The dryer will have to be removed in order to to access the electrical components for troubleshooting and fault isolation. If you have the skills to do that, it may be easier to find an appliance guy that will take a look at it. If you, or someone you can get to help, have some reasonable mechanical/electrical skills they are pretty simple to work on. The 2 guys that answer the tech support line at Splendide really know their stuff and can walk you through the fault isolation process. My dryer recently died and, with their phone help, I had it up and running in short order.

While you wait Google Splendid washer dryer not heating / drying 10 quick vids came up. Based on my home dryers repaired high limit switches and high temp fuse keeping element off. A small shop appliance repair guy may be willing to repair . You may need to let them know your willing to lend a hand for access and removal .

A long shot but before you go to the trouble of pulling the dryer off the stack, 1) make sure the exhaust duct is not clogged, 2) make sure the air intake is not blocked --if you can get your hand behind the top rear of the dryer, and 3) check to see the flapper outside is not stuck shut.

This is assuming that you have a separate dryer, correct? ...as you said "stackable." If a combo, there may be some other things you can check before attempting to pull the entire unit out.
