Splitting HDMI satellite signal
Here is the conundrum.
I have a DISH mobile satellite that runs RG6 from antenna to Wally satellite receiver box then out via HDMI cable to the TV.
What I would like to do is split the signal coming out of the Wally receiver via a HDMI splitter and run one to the TV inside the MH and one to the outside TV. Just not sure that the Wally receiver can do this.
Will the signal be degraded after its split?
I understand that what I watch inside will be the same as the outside. Just trying to use one antenna and receiver.

Should work fine. I have Directv but the principal is the same. The HDMI coming out from each of the two Directv boxes goes into one of two HDMI splitters. Each splitter sends a cat 5 to each of the 4 TV's. They all play just fine at the same time if you wanted to do that.

Sure you can. In fact if you want to avoid needing to run HDMI cables you can do it wirelessly. Just a point to know is that you technically can’t reliably just “split” an HDMI suite of signals. What you actually have is called a distribution amplifier. It takes the input signal and then makes as many exact duplicates as needed and presents each independent signal on its own output so there is no interference among the signals. Here a link to an Amazon search with lots of different products in the ballpark of what you want to do.

I have been using this one for 3 years now and it has been working fine. Chuck

You likely already know that the 2 outs can only forward the same signal. That means that both TVs, when using sat HDMI, can only watch the same channel. It might also be worth noting that instead of running another HDMI cable, you can use an HDMI transmitter/receiver. Quite bit more expensive, though.

Also "it depends" on how long the HDMI cable run will be (or is) and what resolution and frame rate you are viewing at.
If all your viewing is 1080P at 30 fps there are lots of choices and price points.
4K, 60/50 FPS means short cables (or fibre or some pricey CAT6 converters) and special splitters (if your other TV/display is only 1920x1080, for example). The latter has to do with the EDID data that is part of the HDMI standard...

Yes, understand that the signal is just reproduced. What one watches, all watch!
I looked at the wireless ones. I'll just say that I'm not that enthused to watch TV.
I really want it for the outside TV as I like being outside and not inside all the time if I want to watch something. I think I can run a HDMI OK, I shall see this weekend!

First you must decide if you want to run a HDMI cable and booster or use a wireless HDMI unit, with the possibility of encountering signal interference.
