Hi,

My goodness there are a lot of places to stop along the way. I would even consider traveling the Natchez Trace from Mississippi to Tenessee. Then get on I-81 and stop in places like NC, Biltmore Hotel in Asheville, Virginia, Monticello, Williamsburg, lots of history in VA. Pennsylvania has a lot of places to see also, then to NY state and I can't list all the places to go.

I would plan my route and then get online and Google the state and send away for tourist books and then pick out the places you want to stop at that are on your route. Go to Mapquest and have them plan your route also helps.

When I plan a trip I usually go to old issues of Motorhome magazine and pick out places that I want to visit or just play it by ear and stop at the welcome stations in every state I enter than plan someplaces to see.

Good Luck and enjoy your trip.
