Squeaking slide out

Our 2007 Fleetwood Pacearrow 36D has a full wall extension on the driver's side. No problem with its operation except it squeaks and groans moving in and out. Will applying spray lubricant on its rails hurt anything? It certainly will make my wife happier. Thanks.

It should be tended too. Use a lube that will not attract dirt.

They make slide lube for that purpose as well as gasket seal cleaner and lube. You should also clean the sides, top, and bottom of the slide. Then wax it. Keep it slick. Not to do so adds a lot of drag for the slide to over come.

You can also use any dry lube spray.
