Squeaky Floor

I have a squeaky/creaky floor in one spot in front of the kitchen sink in the kitchen/living room slide. This area of the slide is covered in vinyl floor covering. The unit is a 2006 34' Holiday Rambler Vacationer DP. I have no idea how the floor of the slide is constructed. I would of course assume the floor decking is a sanded OSB type material but what that is screwed/glued to I have no idea. I would think the slide floor structure would be steel or aluminum channel joists? Is it possible to locate the joists using a stud finder? Do I use bugle head sheet metal screws to pull the floor decking tightly down to the "joists". I do have storage bays under the slide out but it looks like the storage area has its own "ceiling" concealing the floor of the slide. What methods have you used to fix squeaking floors?
