You NEED a METER/ TEST LIGHT OR BUZZER TESTER to trace the power/ power loss? (EDIT) Glad to see you got it fixed.

Glad you fixed it. The "arcing" of the batteries somehow took out a lot of fuses. Thank goodness for them but as you have found there are a lot of fuse holders on the coach.

I will send you a ton of schematics later. My 08 is close enough that they will help.

You did great chasing all the problems.

I have the complete wiring diagram book for my Camelot, but nowhere did it show the fuses that were blown.

I used a test meter extensively and while it helped a lot, it ultimately did not find the problem.

Looks good is not always good , the fuses have to be tested ?
Cummins , uses 4 or 5 fuses ( usually inline holders ) to supply battery power to the ECM . You may still have a blown fuse somewhere .
Question , have you been testing fuses in both the battery compartment and the front power distribution panel ?
Does your battery bay look like this picture ?
My battery bay is significantly different than your picture. It only has batteries and the battery combiner. I tested all fuses with a continuity tester.

If the engine cranks ; while jumping the starter ; with the key on , and it won't start , then you have perhaps two problems .
As it turned out I did have 2 problems. I believe the 2 - 30 amp fuses that were blown powered the Cummins ECU and the blown 10 amp fuse was protecting the Allison ECU.

Every schematic , I have shows the Cummins ECU fuses as , 10 or 7.5 amp ( 2X 10 and 3x 7.5 is the most common set up ) so the 2x 30 amp , could be for another circuit related to the ignition .

Any chance I could get a copy of those drawings? I have a huge amount on various units but getting some that are specific to your unit would be great to add to my archives.

I would be glad to send you the wiring diagrams, but the pages in the wiring diagram book I have are too large for me to scan or copy. They are much larger than legal size paper.

Photos might suffice. It's good they are large enough to read.

If you have BLACK-WHITE CABLES, VERY possible you have reversed polarity? With BW (vs RB), Black =POS+ (??????????) If no luck, check battery polarity, and follow what you think is NEG to the chassis ground bolt to verify?

Would appreciate if anyone with a Monaco Camelot around 2007 vintage check and let me know if theirs is wired the same. The battery area is the only place I worked in.

I am sending you 5 pics of my 2005 Camelot 40 PDQ battery set up for your review. Hope this helps.

Wow, are you in a drought zone ?

If not,, hose them batteries down. Damp dirt conducts electricity.
