You need to look at the exhaust gas content of diesel combustion. It doesn't create the levels of CO that a gasoline fueled engine does. It's main pollutants and health issues are particulates and NOX. You aren't going to die in your sleep.

Glad to know your detectors were working properly.. There is somewhat of a risk involved,,,,but in your case....it all came out well.

If I stayed at a Walmart lot for the same hours running the generator. My overnight cost(fuel to run gen) would be more $$ then the peace of mind not worrying about CO gas.

Also, be sure to check your generator plumbing. Connections should be tight with the exhaust tip poking out the side are from under the coach. Your genset is probably not installed in a compartment but rather hanging from underneath. Gets lots of air circulation this way. But, the floor above and walls should be caulked and sealed. Yes, i would hate for something to happen but honestly, the odds are very low. Sleeping in my own sweat, nope, nada, no way. I ain't good with that and i'll do my darndest to keep it from happening!

Oh yes,,,,will say all went well last night,,,,went to bed early after long drive,,,,slept well and did "WAKE" up this morning,,,slight headache though,,,but this is my Meds wearing off....damn....hate those meds..

I enjoy and get great info from the forum,,,,,but there are those no matter

what you say will "FLAME" most anywhere they see an opening.....You might just fit this mold....don't really know......

I for one have had a problem with this area of reading certain reply posts
