Steering wheel table?
Anyone come up with a neat way to put a round table on the steering wheel after raising it to the horizontal position?

Not really the round table but this might give you an idea for a means to mount a round table. I made this out of Stainless Steel Tubing to hold my laptop back when my truck was my office. Only con was that it was hard to see over the screen at 100 mph,,,,

Steering wheel table?
Could you put this on the bottom of the round table top to secure it to the steering wheel? Three would just about do it I would think. Just a matter of finding the right size to fit the steering wheel. If needed you could put spacers between in case it wasn't level.

Steering wheel table?
Hi Joe!
If your Monaco wheel is like mine, it comes up to horizontal. We got a pine, round-edged circle the size of the wheel at Lowes. Nola has a variety of fabric covers and nifty thingies to put on it. About 11 bucks

On the cheap--get a 20" [depends on dia of steer wheel] round wood disc [unfinished at Lowes or HD]; screw a small block to the upper side to set inside the top of the wheel radius; screw a tee-shaped block to the lower side that is high enough to level the table when the wheel is locked in most up-right position. Tee-block ends will extend to radius of wheel and set on top of wheel at bottom of radius. Add two-sided [hooks one side, loops on the other] velcro strips to both blocks to secure "table top". Cheap and pretty easy....

I've seen many do as suggested with just buying/making a round disc out of wood and throwing a cover over it. It works well since the Monaco wheels will go horizontal. If you can find a round plastic serving tray with a 1" or so lip that is the right diameter, it would fit well over the wheel upside down and not slide off.

One word of caution. Watch how much weight goes onto the center horn pad. When the coach is aired down, the air horns will not honk, but pressure on the center pad will cause the relay to power up and blow the horn fuse......don't ask me how I know!

Yup, that would do it, but a little pricey for me! ($94 on Amazon)
