Step will not retract with engine running

I have a 1999 Fleetwood bounder the entry step will not retract once the engine is started. The step work normal except after the engine is started. If you turn the engine off the step will retract immediately.

I had a similar problem. It was a blown 15A fuse in the main fuse panel. Mine was labeled ISO, I believe for Ignition Switch Override.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

I've never experienced that but hopefully TonyMac has solved the problem! Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
