FINALLY FIXED, after 7 months, 3 compressors, 4 new air dryers and a total of 9 mechanics having tried to fix the problem.

Three weeks ago today I took my coach to Cummins Service 8n Clinton Twp., MI.

They checked it over and said that the oil problem was, in fact, caused by the kink in the compressor discharge line. That kink was put in the line by the Freightliner shop in Georgia who installed the first replacement compressor. Apparently the restriction caused the compressor to overheat, resulting in the compressor passing oil

I just brought it home an hour ago. Now we can head out on our next adventure.

Thank you again to all on this forum who tried to help me.

Roland

Great news. I know you were tired of fooling with it. Glad they got it figured out. Thanks for closing the loop for all of us.

Glad you finally got it fixed. It is usually something simple, but finding it is the problem. This may help someone in the future. I hope so. Hopefully you can make a new post and let us all know about future travels WITHOUT any problems.
