Strange Noises

I have a 2014 Itasca Sunova Class A and recently while set up/jacks down at a campground there is a metallic clang when walking to the rear of the coach. Coach is level, and parked on a paved site. Seems to be right above the furnace system ductwork, but does not always occur at the same points in the floor, and does not occur when the temperature is above 70 degrees or so inside the coach (worse first thing in the morning, decreasing by early afternoon). The sounds do not occur from the bathroom forward. Anyone have this happen to them? Advice?

I don't know if this will be any help; but if the issue is only in the one paved site , there could be a rock under the jack pad , allowing the pad to rock when the coach moves and what you hear is noise from the springs.
Could be worth the effort to raise the jacks and sweep under the pad , or place a board under the pad as a cushion to the pavement.

I carry 4 , one foot square , 3/4" plywood pads , to insulate the jack pad from the pavement AND in the event of very hot temps ,help keep the pad from sinking into the pavement.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Can't help with the clang but noticed you are kinda new on IRV2 and wanted to say hello! Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
