Sumo springs

I have a 2000 georgie Boy Landau diesel. The sway or helper springs need replacing. Where can I find them as looked all over the web. The chassis I believe is a freight Liner F53 . The springs look like SUMO type.

If the chassis is a F-53, it is a Ford with leaf springs front and rear. There are 2 types of helper springs like you mentioned. There are Timbres and Sumo, and both have a lifetime warranty. I do not recall if this is only for the original owner or not, but checking with the manufactures will get you a answer. Why do you think they need to be replaced?

I use Timbres on my truck and they are a harder (more dense) rubber. They work well for off road type activity. I installed Sumos on my prior coach, which was a gas on the F53 chassis. They are a softer rubber with a bit more give and did improve the handling. From an RV stand point, I’d suggest the Sumo springs.

I guess it's not a Ford, it's a freightliner. one bump stop is gone and the other front one is old. I can't figure out what the chassis number is. It does not have air ride, just straight beams. The bump stops are 5 inches in length and are four coils. in plastic. I figured there might be someone on forum that has a Landau diesel by Georgie Boy.

Go to the Sumo/Timbren websites and input your MH information. They may have a fit for your chassis. Good luck.

I have always had good luck calling Shockwarehouse.com. They have all the major suspension brands and have always provided me good information and advise. Also, usually the best prices.
