THANKS to all of you that pointed me to the NC EZZ Pass. I signed up my 2 vehicles at their online portal and have now received my 2 transponders.

I'm adding this post to warn others that if you have a 3 axle MH and a 2 axle toad, you need to verify with NC to determine which transponder goes in which vehicle. In my case the paperwork included with the transponders showed a transponder number next to a vehicle, but upon checking with them, I was told that the correct transponder was the exact opposite of what is on the form.

I'm still uncertain about "IF" the three axle transponder in the coach will charge me for all 5 axles when towing if I have the 2 axle transponder for the toad hidden and foiled wrapped.

Anybody know for sure???

Ordered the combo and took a recent trip from Jensen Beach, Florida to Mastic Beach, NY. WIth 4 axles between the MH and the toad, tolls were just under $200 for the round trip.

I picked up a Sunpass on our last trip to Florida and mounted it just below my NJ EZ-Pass. I was of the understanding that my EZ pass doesn't work in Florida and that's why I needed the sunpass. Did I miss something or is it just the North Carolina version that is the issue?

We live in NC and have two NC multiple state transponders. Two axle RV, two axle toad. We place the toad transponder in the glove box in the foil pouch it came with while towing.

Tolls for recent round trip from Greensboro, NC to Bangor, ME was about $50.

I didn't check the charges on line as I guessed this to be about the correct amount.

Sure nice to only deal with one toll agency.
