Tank cleaner effects level sensors?

Never had a issue with the old school level sensors. One day, at the rv store, saw an additive to make my black tank smell like citrus. Highly rated, yada, yada.

Poured it in… poop now smells like citrus.

But my black tank reads FULL all the time now…

Tried flushing… no change…

These additives effect the sensors, or does poop turn to slush and then coat them?

Do a YouTube search for the guy that discusses “the Geo method” and “poo pyramid” in a couple of 20 minute videos.

Following the process, you’ll save money and your tank sensors will start working again. You can look at my profile and find where I’ve discussed this at length on various IRV2 threads.

The process is not an overnight cure unless you know some way to get in the tanks and agitate or scrub the mixture. Or, you can remove and clean the sensors - then continue to follow the stated methods.
