Tecma Not Flushing

My Tecma was installed in 2007. It has the 2-button control panel. I’m pretty sure it’s the Silence Plus. Water runs pre-flush and during. All the buttons are lit and seem to work. But the macerater pump won’t suck the contents out or make any noise.

I read where the panel may need to be reset. I found the connector to it behind the toilet and separated it for 10 minutes. After reconnection, same symptoms.
I tried holding both buttons in for an emergency flush. It that didn’t solve things, either.

The day before this happened, I had to park my coach on a slight hill with the DS down. That’s also the side the outside tank sensors are on; so, the tank have been getting false full sensing. However, I moved the coach to level where it sat for 3 hours before the non-flushing appeared.

I have 12VDC power coming in to the macerater / pump. So, I guess it could have gone out. Does anyone have any other troubleshooting ideas? Has anyone pulled the pump and successfully diagnosed whether it works or not?

Jerry

My wife dropped the lid from a bottle of bowl cleaner down our and I freaked! Thank goodness we have a second bathroom. I ordered a new pump from amazon. I think it was about $275. The toilet was easy to remove. 4 screws into the floor and a hose clamp on the discharge line. Unhooked a couple electrical connectors. Took it outside and turned it bottom side up. Removed another hose clamp and a bolt, pump came right off. I was lucky the cap did not damage the pump and I was able to put it back on. So now I have a spare pump. Our control panel has colored lights to monitor the level in my black tank. If the light is red my pump will not run until I empty my tank.
