Tecma toilet not holding water

Our Tecma toilet will not hold water in the bowl. I suspect the DW has clogged it using too little water to flush.

Any tips on how to unclog?

Does toilet FLUSH correctly?

If you use only Left Button......water saver flush
If you use only Right Button....normal flush
Push/Release both buttons........empties bowl water

Push and HOLD both buttons ...water level increases....release when water is 1/2" above outlet

If water drains out then check the pump discharge hose in back of toilet.
If top of loop is below bowl outlet level water siphons out
Pull top of hose UP above bowl outlet

Pump/hose clogged the toielt will back up/not flush---water/stuff should overflow

And for your sake.........hope wife doesn't read where you are placing blame on her

Yikes!!

If it flushes fine and just doesn't hold water you need a new gasket.

We had the same issue with our 2016 journey. You can search this forum for the fix. I cant remember where I found it. We ended up doing some replumbing. It seems the toilet is not vented so the water siphons out. We added a T, an elbow, small length of pipe and a studor valve bought at the local Lowes.

Not that kind of toilet. No bowl seal used

It has a macerator pump backside of toilet with a looped discharge pipe.
Top of loop has to be higher then outlet of toilet bowl so water stays in bowl
