Television mount locations

If any of you guys and girls have installed a new television, I would like to know how you did it and possibly see some pictures. Right now I have an analog television mounted on the center part of the dash (came that way) between the driver and passenger seats, almost on the console. I want to get the HD set in so I can do away with some wires and watch real tv.

I replaced 2 CRT TVs with flat screen TVs, but my RV had overhead 'boxes.' I made 5/8" plywood fillers for the boxes, cut 3" holes in the ply to access cables, and painted them black. Anchored in the boxes, both old TVs are a memory and the flat screens work fine.

I suggest you use the search box with the Google logo to search the forum for others that have changed out in-dash TVs like you have. As I recall, many have installed drawers, shelves, and other useful repurposing of the space.
