I test drove 1 and road in another as part of a test drive.
The one I test drove the wife of the seller took us out and explained how to handle hills and corners. She drove us to an empty parking lot where I tried it and then I drove it back to there storage location. We had agreed on a price on condition of a short test drive, about 5 miles.
Turned out she did almost all the MH driving as he drives extensively for work.
I had been hauling a 36 ft fiver and had driven larger trucks , not semis , before. Mostly utility company trucks.

I purchased mine sight unseen (other than internet pics) from almost 2000 miles away. First drive was driving it home hahaha

HA! My test drive (36' class A) was in downtown Winter Park, FL - older, narrow streets with no shoulders and very tight.

Told the salesman that the biggest thing I ever drove was a ford 150. Asked him if there was anything in particular I should know before the test drive. He said "Naaw, it's just like driving your car". I told him it couldn't possibly be like driving my car so he agreed that it was more like driving a 'big' car.

Anyway - after making the left turn out of the dealer lot it only took me one block to have the right side wheels up on the sidewalk for a short distance . Salesman said we were 'good' because no one was on the sidewalk . LOL.

We even drove on I4 that day. It was definitely a 'white knuckle experience' for me but we did buy the coach and I haven't been up on the sidewalk since
