Test Drive on a Coach That is Ordered From The Mfg

What is the protocol for test driving a motorhome when the deal is a new order from the manufacturer?

Is it appropriate to stipulate acceptance based on the contingency of a satisfactory test drive?

Is it more likely that a test drive would be with a similar vehicle prior to signing the order for the new coach?

Any other way you have handled this situation. We have only purchased one vehicle as a special order. We drove a typical model prior to ordering. A car is much different than a Motorhome, but Tiffin reputation certainly carries a lot of positive weight.

Your information is appreciated. Prior thread on similar, but used coaches.

Many new purchases even from dealer are on units that haven't arrived yet. I have always test drove when it got there. Only had a deposit down up until that point and a contract that said contingent upon satisfactory inspection upon arrival.
