Thermostat and roof coatings for New to us 2018 Vista 31BE

How do I find out what AC Unit I have and what thermostats are compatible? Ours either runs constantly or not at all. So, freezing at night. It can’t keep up in this hot weather during the day. I’ve looked at some of the roof coatings that are supposed to help. Any suggestions or information on thermostats and coatings are appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.

Your problem is one of the most discussed problems during the summer. I believe you will get a good variety of suggestions, but doing a search by using the search bar will get you a lot of similar posts that may assist you.
