Thor Axis and Vegas

Would appreciate opinions on these two small Class A Motorhomes both new and used.

Thanks a bunch.

May I suggest you click on the Owners Forums tab above, then select the Thor Industries Group. Just a quick glance there and I found several threads on the Axis.

We have 25.2 Axis and are happy with it.

The E450 Ford chassis is great and reliable.

As far as the Thor part, you get what you pay for. It's not a top of the line RV but uses all of the standard RV components found in most value based RVs. In other words cheap and light duty.

If your handy and not looking for expert fit and finish it will work for you.

We have a 2017, purchased in 2018, and have spent 4 winters snow birding with it. 30,000 trouble free chassis miles towing a pickup behind it.

Which ever you choose.. run a car fax on them 1st.. it will sometimes tell you if been in wreck and when and where serviced .. and walk that roof.. check every crack and roof vent.. look for signs of damage.. then use strong flashlights and check ceiling for any signs of staining.. that means water damage
Then show up.. with white paper towels and wipe each oil on paper towels and if not same color as comes out bottle.. could me problems..
Get jump suit and mat.. go under coach.. check diff oil.. wipe on rag..
Have 2 inspections.. 1 for coach and 2nd for chassis..
Yes.. it's a hassle.. buy it just like house.. agree on price subject to passing successfully..
USE escrow for money
Good luck and let us know what you did and maybe better members then me will help you

Before purchasing anything as expensive as a motorhome, either used or new, I would have a professional and licensed RV inspection Service go over it from sea to shining sea. Just too many things that could be wrong with it that I would not have a clue about.
