Thor Challenger hood opens while driving

I believe the hood latches are not long enough on my 2021 gas MH. They easily come out of the slots if you move the hood slightly left or right which will happen with a slight bump in the road. I think the parts I want to replace are called offset cams. Anyone else have this problem? Where can I get longer ones? It looks like I can just remove a nut and the short cam, add the longer cam and retighten the nut.

Looks like you have a bunch of options here https://www.amazon.com/s?k=offset+cams&ref=nb_sb_noss

DIY to the rescue

I couldnít find what I wanted, so I made these myself. Now my hood should only open when I want it to.

Thanks for the heads up. I have the same model so will definitely keep an eye on those.

To copy the DIY version shared ,you could start with a good quality one hole conduit strap.
