Thoughts on Best Built DP (350K-500K price range)

I'm currently shopping for my first ever motorhome. I've read about most brands and Entegra, Tiffin, Monaco and Newmar all of which offer floor plans that work for me, standout. However, l'm at a loss when it comes to determine which one of these companies is/are known to be good builders as well as responsive to any issues or concerns post purchase.. Thank you in advance for your input.

Well...we think Newmar is an excellent builder. Try to take a factory tour of all of them. There are also video of the builds. Google for them by manufacturer. Here is one of Newmar's. There are others out there.

After having two Dutch Stars we still liked Newmars. That said if I wanted to make changes then go with Newmar, if the floor plan and equipment suits you with few or no changes then Entegra might be better for you.

We have been also looking in that range. Entegra and Newmar are our first choices. If we had a dealer anywhere near us we would also include American Coach in our search. Tiffin has a very strong following also, but I would join and read the Tiffin RV Network to find out more about that brand.

i understand that those are all great units. If you aren't set on new, you could add a nicely kept or lightly refurbished 2000-2007 Marathon Prevost to that list for consideration.
