Tiffin Allegro

2014, F53 chassis, V10 engine.
What Octane fuel is recommended? Can’t find anything about it in the manual. TIA. JR

If you do a search you will probably find some rather lengthy discussions on this with some people saying that they use premium because that is what the owner's manual says. We have almost 10k miles on our F-53, use good quality regular 87 octane and have had no issues. My final comment on one of the discussions I mentioned was that if I had to put premium in this 80 gallon tank I would be selling it. 87- no problems.

The Ford manual that came with our 2018 F53 recommended 87 octane. Ford makes manuals available online if you want to find your year. 87 has worked just fine for us.

The F53 motorhome chassis owner manual says 87 octane under Fuel Quality on page 28.
