The floor plans are pretty much the same, the 31 is on a 22,000 lb chasis, the 36 on a 24.000. the main difference being the 36 has two offices (bathrooms) just wondering what the majority preference is, thanks

My impression (from the number of posts on tiffinrvnetwork.com) is that the 36LA is the top selling gas floor plan. In the six months, I've seen a lot more 31SA posts as well.

We just ordered the shorter 31sa after visiting the Tampa show and getting prices from 3 dealers. Thanks to all for visiting the CCC issue with this 33.5' beauty. Calling Tiffin (and getting 2 different opinions) we added to the order the 24K chassis at a cost of about $3,000. more. The supposed margin there was too close if we wish to carry a full belly of water.
We chose the 31SA mainly for the shorter length. I am able to park it and the toad in my driveway. Being shorter has also helped a few times in some state parks. The 36LA would not have worked.
If we decide to go full time the 36LA would be our first choice to upgrade.
