Tiffin Slide Issue

Closed up three slides this am and the pass side front slide won’t retract. The seat switch is dead.

You can use the emergency retract button on the chassis Spyder panel in the DS front compartment. Unless you have the wireless remote switch, check the wiring under the seat to make sure the connection hasn't pulled loose or a wire pinched.

Agree with LtDan. ESPECIALLY, if you swiveled your seat. I found my passenger seat plug loose after the seat was swiveled around for company. It also skinned one of the wires. I had to do some repairs on the spot to make the slide retract. When I got home, I made permanent repairs that will hopefully keep the wiring away from the frame of the chair. I also used a tie wrap to help keep the connector from coming apart.

Not sure if this helps, but there was mention that the button on the seat to adjust the slides has a battery backup. check that too.

We parked at a Casino overnight with a friend in a 2019 Allegro Bus. He had the same issue. That emergency retract button in the driver's side bay did the trick. Apparently, it was a just a glitch and he never had another issue.
