Tire pressure

What is a good 12 volt air compressor to use to keep motorhome tire pressure up to par. Looking for a good 100-150 pound 12 volt air compressorthat doesn't take forever to raise 3 to 5 lbs

We have the Viair 450RV and love it. High quality and has no problems quickly airing up tires to high pressures.

If your RV has a generator, you can run a 120v compressor, lots of pancake type that are rated at 150psi. You can buy 3 pancake compressors for the price of the admittedly nice Viair. Pancake will inflate much faster than the Viair.

Do u have a fitting inside your generator compartment that allows u to plug in air-hose to the on-board compressor??? (If u have a diesel).... I have one and my on-board compressor will air tire up with ease.....

I think the ViAIR is the best compressor out there, although I would recommend the 450P-RV if you want the very best. It is designed for continuous cycle operation.

it better be continuously rated given the whopping 1 CFM rating at load. Honestly, what's the benefit over a 115v pancake other than a bit smaller in size?
