At 5000 ft above sea level, air pressure only drops about 2.4 psi (all other things being equal), which should show as an increase in pressure on a tire gauge. Gauges are referenced to atmosphere, so dropping atmospheric pressure results in a higher gauge reading.
Not that I'd worry about it, of course.
