Tire pressure one more time.

First don't yell, i just got info from Goodyear but still need input. I have Goodyear G647 245/70 19.5.They are commercial tires i just found out. My front axle weight is 6420#, drive axle 12,000#, car ia 4180. This is on a 06 HR 30PDD.
I just had it on the scale the other day. 4 wheel unavailable.
The confusion for me is that i thought i could drop the pressure in the front for sure based on weight. But Goodyear said no. Weight does not matter, run them all at 100psi. My dentist will love that because i will need all new fillings every time i travel.
Did i get bad advice? Thanks

Even without weights you can run them at the RV manufactures recomended pressures.

Did MR GOODYEAR tell you in person or a guy working in a tire shop. Look for it in print.

I don't see any load/inflation numbers for those tires. However it looks like 110psi is the pressure they are supposed to be at.

I would contact Goodyear Customer Service and find out if they have a load/inflation guide for that tire. They may not because of its designated use.

I see that tire comes in both an F and G rating. I once made the mistake of putting G's on my small MH that originally came equipped with F's. The ride was firm and uncomfortable, even with pressure lowered to the minimum pressure the tire could support. Kept those tires for about a year before replacing with the Bridgestone F's that I have now. The new tires ride so much better.

Didn't find the inflation tables for the G657 but did find this.

https://www.wingfootct.com/products/rv/G647.pdf

As you can see in the table, the F rated tire's max psi is 85. The G's maximum is 100 psi. Its physical weight is about 5 lbs heavier than the F which indicates heavier construction, maybe a couple more belts?, that would make for a firmer ride.

Here's a link to a Goodyear site that contradicts what you were told:

Thanks everyone for your input the last chart I was not able to find the other day. So thanks Bobc. I did go over to the rig this morning. Somone said to check the chart next to the drivers seat. Never knew it was there. Holiday Rambler recommends 80# in both the steering tires as well as the duals. I would have never guessed that low. But I am sure it will help make the ride much better. Thanks again for all the good info.

Keep in mind that the pressures listed on the placard next to the driver's seat are usually for the maximum load rating of the axles. They might be correct for you if your weights are near that amount. My placard said to inflate all of my tires to 110 psi. It turns out that the front needed to be a minimum of 115 psi, the drive @ 85 and the tag could be @ 75. All based on actual tire loading.
