Tire replacement

I have a 2008 Monaco Cayman w/ Goodyear G670 255/70/22.5 original tires and will be replacing this year. Would like some recommendation on the brand and size that would fit and give the best safe ride, so far the only brand i have consider is Michelin XZE.

Thank You

Would suggest Michelin tires and use the FMCA discount program to save a lot. If not a member of FMCA this could be the reason.

Michelin/Goodyear? Koni/Bilstein shocks? These two questions have a 50/50 split on member responses. There are a few less popular brands discussed due to significantly lower prices, but you usually get what you pay for.

I switched to Toyo's based on numerous recommendations from other MH owners. I saved $1300 over the Michelin's and am still happy 1 year and 9000 miles later. I will find out in a few years if I made the right decision.

We had an 2008 Safari Simba which was the sister to your Cayman with the same size tires. I've seen a lot of good things posted about Hankook tires and I priced them out here in Oregon. I could get them out the door for just a few bucks over $2500. How does that compare with the Michelins? Also, Toyo and Yokohama are two others that seem to be very good tires also.

Research, research, research....
