Tire replacement
Looking for info on replacement tires for my MH. I have 275/80 R22.5 XZA3
Michelin. Thinking of going to Toyo tires insead of Michelin. Anyone have any experience with the Toyo brand? I have been told it is a very good tire & superior
to Michelin in ride, safety etc. Any input or experience would help.

Have used Toyo tires for several years without complaints...easier to get warranty work on Toyo as you do not have to return to the selling dealer for service like you do if you buy Michlins at a "big Box Store". I assume that is still the way it works.

Al when I bought my coach it had the TOYO tires, this year I replaced it with Toyo again .
I was going to go for Yokohama which has a higher load rating but wanted the same ride and characteristics so went for the Toyo, could have gotten cheaper but was happy with them.

I don't know about Toyo being superior to Michelin, but it's every bit as good and usually costs substantively less. I have Toyo 295/80R22.5 on the front of my coach. Continentals on the back.

Got Hankooks on mine. Just as good as Michelins and a lot cheaper. And you don't get sidewall cracks.

Changed to Toyo's on front after Michelins (3rd set) again had extensive rivering. After many alignments, balancing I could only get approximately 60,000 miles or less on fronts. I replaced Michelins with Toyo's 154's. 3 years and 35,000 miles later they still look great and ride good. The Michelins on the rear are 6 years old and have cracks on sidewalls (third set but the 1st that were over 4 years old). As of this coming Friday I'm having 4 more Toyo's mounted on rear. My coach has 204,000 miles. Just my experience.
Hope this helps.
