Hello I found tires on amazon and I just wanted to make sure that I'm picking the correct ones. the picture is from my actual tire today. and then the link to the tires I'm thinking about buying. Let me know if they are the right ones from your experience.

I am always skeptical of things on Amazon with very few reviews, these tires have just 1.

I personally would not purchase tires for my MH on-line and instead go to a reputable dealer to purchase and have them installed (while at the same time ensuring that the tires I am purchasing have been manufactured in the current year in which I am purchasing them, i.e. 2018.)

I have bought tires for my previous motor homes online and saved quite a bit. Tires were only a month old (according to date). That being said, I would make sure the load range and tread pattern meet your needs.

Too much counterfeit stuff being sold on Amazon to trust your life to tires bought there. If it can be counterfeited, it will be. And then sold on Amazon.

We bought the Cooper Roadmaster RM170 tires a couple of years back and couldn't be happier. We received free shipping, loaded them up in the RV, and took them to a local OTR truck shop for installation and balancing;

I would not hesitate to purchase from Simpletire.com. They sell huge amounts of name brand tires so date codes are current

I was ready to order from Simple Tire and they couldn't/wouldn't guaranty a date code since they are only a tire broker and they can't get date codes from the warehouses they deal with. Customer service told me less than 3 years and I had to keep them. When you consider that's about 1/2 of the service life of a tire possibly gone I decided to purchase from a local truck shop.

I bought tires for my car last year off Amazon. They were 2 years old when I received them and three of the four were from the same lot. I'm only going to use these for 2-3 years and then they'll have to be replaced (I'm hard on car tires).

I'd use a reputable tire dealer for my RV tires. At least that's what I plan to do when the need arrises.

No matter how many tires he sells every day, no tire retailer can guarantee tires any newer than the tire factory makes them. Some brand & sizes of tire are in low demand and production runs are spaced well apart, sometimes many months. If you have one of the low volume sizes and want to get new ones at the wrong point in the production cycle, your choices are to accept an older tire or wait until the next new batch comes available. Or maybe choose another brand that is working on a different factory schedule.

If a dealer has a friendly working relationship with the brand warehouse, he can ask the guys there to check dates as they pull tires to fill his order. Some will, others may not. But if all the tires of that size in the warehouse are older than you prefer, there isn't much to be done.

The other thing that can happen is a back-order, which occurs if the warehouse sells all of a size before the next factory batch run is due. I've heard of some motorhome-only sizes like the 295/80R22.5 back-ordered for months.
