To plug in or not? Plus refer maintenance?

I have 2004 Fleetwood Discovery Class A motorhome - I am fortunate to be able to store it in a heated storage unit that has a 50 amp plug in.

My questions pertain to the following scenario: When storing for 3-4 weeks in between trips -

#1 - Should I keep plugged into 50 amp service?
#2 - If plugged in should I turn off battery switches inside coach?
#3 - If plugged in should I leave frig turned on?
#4 - Is there any benefit to putting battery charger on Engine batteries?

I'm seeking opinions for best way to maintain coach during short-term storage situations - Thank everyone so much for responses! Shomeyankee

Myself, I would keep it plugged in as the Inverter/converter should keep all batteries, coach and engine charged. If you have wet batteries, check the water level monthly and when departing.
The refrigerator turned on only if you're keeping frozen food or beer inside. Keeping the refrigerator turned off and doors open will save in electrical costs.

If you have a 3 stage charger (you should) leave it plugged in. Keeping your house batteries on a float charge will help extend their life. Definitely keep them topped off but on a float charge they shouldn't gas. If you have a single stage charger don't leave it plugged in. The batteries will gas and go dry. Instead, set it up with a standard power cord and a timer to charge intermittently. You will keep the batteries charged without drying them out so bad.

I'd leave it plugged in as long as your inverter/charger won't overcharge the batteries. Don't use battery disconnect if plugged in or possibly inverter won't be connected to the batteries. Check to make sure house and chassis batteries are connected to the inverter/charger, ir not then a trickle charger on the chassis batteries would be in order. Leaving refrigerator on or not is your choice, I leave it empty, off and open when not in use to prevent attracting critters and save energy.

Does your coach charge the chassis batteries when connected to shore power? If so, leave everything as previously posted. If not, you will need a maintenance charger for the chassis batteries.
