We're thinking of buying a late model used airstream. At first I thought they were rare as hen's teeth, but they seem to keep popping up in RV trader. Many of the floorpans we were considering have shown up recently locally (Orlando). I think to some extent, people who buy big dollar RVs are changing their mind and try to sell them. But if they are really upside down it may be difficult to sell and have to make up the difference to the bank. We took a beating when we sold our class A, but we'd already anticipated this might happen and had the cash available as opposed to bleeding slowly paying for an RV we were not able to use.
We too have noticed the number of coaches available rising and the quick turnover has all but stopped.

There are many places to purchase your coach, but especially for your first one, the only place you should be looking is NIRVC. You will receive awesome service before, during, and after the sale.
Do not be too concerned about the location of the coach as they will move it for you.
