To run or not to run

If our MH is ramblin down the road, the generator is running. Rooftop a/c units, micro, coffee maker etc.

Can't really add to what others have said. You don't need to run the generator to operate the fridge or furnace on LPG.

We run our generator when traveling in very hot weather so we can run both A/C units as needed.
