I have a 75 gallon tank and for trip planning purposes I know I can usually go 400 miles if need be. I get 7.1 MPG.
I did one trip 450 miles and the fuel light came on. I was checking to see when it would come on and knew the area had plenty of gas stations.
However at a half tank or so, I usually start looking for a gas station that is large and empty.
I don't use Pilot, Flying J, etc. Too many morons on cellphones not watching where they are going or leave their car in front of the pump while they shop, etc.

Jacobnino-
You'd be surprised how insensitive gas mileage is to any of the factors besides speed (at least for a gas-powered coach).
If you drive 60 miles per hour, expect between 7 and 8 miles per gallon, or about 500 miles per tank, based on having 10 percent left in the tank when you refuel.
(7.5 * 75 * 0.9) = 506
I usually refuel when down to about 25 percent.
If you drive 65 to 70 miles per hour, deduct 1 mile per gallon.

Total miles w/ full tank?
On my 80 gallon tank I usually get about 600 miles before refueling. I get about 8 miles per gallon with the 2013 Itasca Sunstar 26HE on a Ford F53 chassis with the V10.

A very, very true statement. It simply amazes me how inconsiderate todays humanoids are. Absolutely no common sense, no common decency and common courtesy. We too don't use Flying J or Pilot because they're simply ALWAYS over crowded. As for mileage and estimated distances, we have a 100 gallon tank.
And, on our coach, for some odd reason, it may, or may not, fill to capacity or, at least it (the gauge needle) will not go to the full mark even if I see the level right at the fuel entry. Never have figured that one out. On rare occasions, it does actually go to and over the full mark but, that's rare.
So, calculating a given distance is not all that easy, even though we're supposed to be starting out a trip, with ONE HUNDRED gallons of fuel. And, based on that, we're SUPPOSED to have very close to a 700 mile range, based on my day-to-day, every hour, up hill, down hill, sitting in the garage, dropped from a C-5A transport and free falling, never changing 7 miles per gallon. But, as long as we've owned and operated this coach, it's never worked out like that. I've always needed fuel before I should. Oh well, it is what it is. Life's too short to worry about the small stuff.

mine may sound too good to be true, but it is what it is, no fun for me to cook numbers! frankly speaking, mine is doing exceptionally well. don't ask me why becuz i don't know. i just recently ran a long trip with multi tanks, the result confirmed the old numbers -
total miles you get with a full tank of diesel fuel: 970
How big is your fuel tank on gallons: 100
the size of the engine: 8.3L (Cummins ISC 350)
And how big is your mh: 40ft with one slide
Average city and freeway/highways: (i assume you are asking mpg): 9-10 mpg. the latest was 9.7.
a few things i'd like to mention:
1) i only fill #2, no biodiesel. my engine does not like it. if i see a tag on the pump saying % bio, i drive away
2) my tire pressures are in line with manufacturer's spec: front 120, rear 115 psi
3) i don't load stuff that i'll never use.
4) removed the washer/dryer combo. reduced the chance of water leak and the weight. the combo hadn't worked desirably.
5) replaced the flooded coach batteries with much lighter li.
6) added the weight of solar panels.
7) towing honda fit sports (very light about 2700 lbs)
happy trails!

avarage total miles you get with a full tank of gas 1,000+ miles*
How big is your fuel tank on gallons 90
the size of the engine 300
And how big is your mh 35'
Avarage city and freeway/highways 11.4
*I will NEVER get that since I don't wait until empty to refill

Don't know average total miles with a full tank of gas as I avoid getting below about 1/3 remaining which is about 350 miles.
70 gallons tank.
Ford 6.8 liter V10.
31' coach with an average weight around 17,000 lbs.
Average city mileage maybe 6, freeway/highways high 7's. Bumper to bumper traffic I'm happy to see 5 m/gal. I'll loose about .5 m/gal from the averages when we take the 3000 lbs. toad along.
Dash fuel gauges are not always accurate. Half a tank remaining on the gauge with 250 miles behind you might not get you another 250 miles down the road. Know your coach before living on the edge.

40' DP with 380HP
100 gallon tank
8.5-9.5 MPG if I'm not towing my Jeep
8-8.5 MPG if I'm towing
I usually set the cruise at 65-70MPH
