My MH has a CAT 330 (Diesel) engine anmd I get around 7-7.5 mpg if I am driving in the mid 60mph range. I have a 150 gallon tank and honestly it foams so much when I fill it that it is rarely full because I have to trickle it in and it takes forever...so I usually go from an indicated 3/4 tank to 1/2 tank and then start looking for fuel. I usually get 400 ish miles out of that much fuel and honestly I like to take breaks more often than that for the sake of my sanity and legs and back!MH is 40' long and 2 sides, running at about 29,500 lbs loaded.

100 Gal tank
6.9 MPG at about 65MPH
690 Miles
Might get slightly better mileage, haven't checked it in a couple of years. I'll push 650 miles on a tank if I know I can get fuel when I want it.

150 gal of diesel
8.5 mpg towing the Honda
problem is at about 500 miles, generator wont run. So in hot weather, we can only do the 500. when in cooler weather, I'll go 900 miles, if I know fuel will be close by.
Would like to extend the pick up for the genny.. Maybe a good project this winter.

I forgot to mention that if we're using the genny I start looking for a place to fill up after the tank is 1/2 full, as the genny stops running at 1/4 tank!

Around a 1/4 tank I start looking. That assumes I am not out in the middle of nowhere. GasBuddy is a good app to use if you have a smartphone and cell service. Especially if you have a diesel like I do. I generally plan ahead of time the general vicinity where I am going to fuel using gasbuddy for pricing and # of stations on my route.
Watch the height on any fuel station you drive into. I have watched many of videos of coaches getting their tops pealed back or ac's knocked off. Ain't pretty having those open holes in the roof of your rv. And entrance/exit strategy and which side of the pumps you have to be on. My coach has fillers on both sides so I am lucky there.

100 gallon tank. Around 7 to 8 mpg. Fill when 1/2 to 3/4 gone. Use Gas Buddy app and PenFed credit card to help get best fuel price.

Tire pressures are set for the weight of the rig with full fuel and fresh water tanks, towing a car and fully loaded for a long trip - 110 psi on steer axle, 100 psi on drive axle, 90 psi on TAG.
Mathematically, I can get 1,200 miles out of a tank, but of course I never let it get down that far. My gauge is also not all that accurate, so when it says I have a half a tank of fuel I actually only have about 1/3 of a tank. (I know this because at half a tank on the gauge I can squeeze in 90-100 gallons). I typically plan out fuel stops along the way for convenience and price, not for how much is left in my tank, so I almost always have more than half a tank of fuel on board.
I typically drive 65-ish mph except in California where I drive right around 60 because of the towing / 3-axle speed restriction. I don't care about an extra fraction of a percent of fuel mileage, I drive to match the conditions of the road and traffic. On most highways / freeways 65 works out very well... traffic can still go around me if they want, but I'm not coasting along like a rolling road block either.
That said, I have to admit that on our last leg home in Nevada the speed limit was 70, and because 1) I was alone on the rig, 2) I wasn't towing our car and 3) all the wet tanks were basically empty, I set the cruise control to 75 and sailed home. Handled like a dream and the fuel mileage only went down about .4 gpm (it was ridiculously windy that day). That .4 would make a significant difference on a long drive cross country, but I was only about 150 miles from home so it didn't even make a dent.

I second this post. Same engine in a 43' Itasica Ellispe GD. About 1200 miles to fill up or every other day when cross country traveling. I get between 9-11 mpg without a towed and about 1 mpg less pulling the towed. Sweet speed is about 65 mph on the flats but 70 is more common out west. Oh and plus DEF. Just filled up in Tennessee, $2.09 gal. for #2 diesel.

I have a 8.1 gas Workhorse and have gotten as good as 10.5 going through Texas with a stiff tail wind and as bad as 4.5 running into a 30 mph head wind. I figure I average around 7. I pull a Jeep so backing up is not an option so I fill up when it gets just below 1/2 tank unless I know of a station that I can use. I use Flying J with RV lanes for my convenience and the discount through Good Sams.

That may be true for the "regular" fillup lanes, but we like using the Pilot/Flying J's that have dedicated RV lanes. We keep in the RV a copy of their directory that identifies those stations. Fellow RVers are more considerate and can run any errand they need in the time it takes to pump that much gas!

I average around 8 mpg with an 02 Ford V-10. 75 gallon tank but I monitor Gas Buddy and fill up whenever I find cheaper gas, especially when about to enter a new state.
