TOYO Tire Dealer New Orleans HELP!

Hello All, 3 miles from our destination and could not cut wide on a turn. The curb ripped the outer tread of our new Toyo M177 295/75R 22.5 16 ply outer rear duel with approx. 1,800 miles on it.

Looks like only the most outer tread has been affected. I bet I could finish our cross country trip (7,000 more miles) with them after I remove the loose rubber as it appears the belts have not been damaged.

But I am not a betting man, not with motorhome tires so can anyone recommend a tire shop that carries Toyo's in the New Orleans area. Thanks, Joe

Bing/google "Toyo truck tires." I got mine at Southern Tire Mart, they are all over the south.

Joe,see if you can get it replaced, keep it as a spare for your trip then sell It to a farmer.

It’s always something, I agree with getting it swapped out!

enjoy your trip!

Bill

An excellent tire shop that has a very good reputation is Randy Purvis in Denham Springs just outside of Baton Rouge. I'm not sure if that's too far to go or not but they are known for superb customer service.

The are a full-service tire and automotive kind of place but do provide tires for farm equipment in the area and also have a full line of commercial truck tires too. Relatively good access to their property ...not one of those tight in-city locations.
