Transfer Switch LPT50BRD

I have a 2008 Monaco Knight that the transfer switch a ITS-50 R that went bad. When I called the manufactor the sent me a LYGHT LPT50BRD stating that this is a replacement. The mechanic that I am using says that the replacement can not be used. Because the ITS-50R had 13 connections, and the LPT50BRD has only 9. Has anyone made this change.

I am replacing this unit. The new unit does not use jumpers, they are wired internally.I believe that's whats confusing him.The new unit should work fine. The correct hook-up is shown on the lid of the new unit.
