Transporting Kayaks w/out Toad with DP?

Looking for ideas on how to transport kayaks without pulling a toad. We have a diesel pusher, so I would be a bit concerned about using a hitch mounted vertical rack due to engine cooling - and high heat/melting the kayaks. Thanks in advance!

Im in the same boat as you... (or kayak that is)....

I was trying to figure out how to take ours along. Not enough length in any of the cargo bays. Wish there was a way to safely secure it to the roof, although it would be a struggle getting it up there...

Definitely a dilemma. We love our kayaks and used to haul them in the garage of our toy hauler...I really don't want to TOAD, but...

I've pondered the same thing. Wanted to take my 12' fishing kayak, but it won't fit in the basement and to carry it on my truck that I tow I need a different toneau cover and the raised racks and by the time I get done buying them I can just purchase an inflatable.

There are several vertical racks made for RV that accommodate Bikes and kayaks such as this one:

Do some searching you'll find something,
