Trash radio

I know this is probably an old bone, but, here goes....jvr9000r radio in 2014 thor ace, black screen, all fuses good ,light on behind volume knob, thin red line bottom of screen. All posts seem pretty old (2015) but I'm getting impression I should throw radio away! 462.00 for new one, any thoughts? Had it out, real stinker, some wiring not right, all power inputs red, orange, a d black, powered with or without ign switch off. Can find inexpensive replacement but only 1 camera input. Btw, turns itself on whenever it feels like it then kills the battery!

Yes, get a 2 din apple car play radio like a Kenwood or Sony for around $600 (or cheaper if you want less features) and have an outstanding, versatile, useful, functional radio for a change. With Nav! Check out Crutchfield or Adorama.

Something like this:

I've always been partial to Pioneer.
I see the max number of camera inputs on their NEX series is 2 though.

If you have more than that and actually use them, I bet you can find a separate video or digital switch or install a 2nd, multi-input screen. Maybe one from:Tadi. I know nothing about their reliability but prices seem cheap and a choice of sizes and features.

You can purchase a video switch that automatically switches camera input to radio. My 2015 and 2016 Thor coaches have the switch factory installed with one input on the radio. Surprised yours is not the same.

I prefer separate dash mounted GPS to one incorporated in the radio. Updating is usually included and easier to accomplish in the stand alone GPS. Dash mount is easier to see than looking down at radio screen.

Here is a video of where the video switch was located in 2015 ACE:
