Travel / park radio mode 1997 Dutch Star

Before I start digging through the dash I wanted to know if the 1997 Newman Dutch Star has a switch to travel or park mode for the radio. My Fleetwood bounder had that option bit I didn't find any switches on the Dutch Star.

I'm a little confused. Was this question asked before? I know I asked a question about how to get in the dash but this question was trying to figure out why the radio is always on. More like trouble shooting in case someone else had the same problem.

Guess you're right - I saw the "digging in the dash" and "radio" (was "stereo wires" in the first) in this topic. No foul, you can do what you like.
Sorry for the detour.

On our Country Coach the radio always has power to it. You just have to turn it off. We have never had a problem leaving it on or it running the battery down.

It's OK. I looked at the manual for this RV and didn't find anything but the info about the speakers. I've always heard the newmar wiring is very weird

Thank you for the reply. Maybe if I put a switch tied to the radio power it will help save my battery. In one day my chassis battery goes kaplunk lol.
