Traveling in below freezing temps

Hello,
I will be traveling in sub freezing temps in a couple of weeks. My vehicle is a 2004 Holiday Rambler Imperial DST with an aqua hot system. Will it be necessary to winterize it before I leave or will the aqua hot system and the bay heater keep the water pipes and tanks safe while traveling and while stopped for the night?
Thank you,
Craig

The Aquahot should do a fine job keeping things warm down into at least the upper teens. I haven't tested it beyond that.

Thank you for the information. It’s going to be 0 degrees F on one morning. Thinking about putting a heat lamp in the bay that night.

Don't leave your water hose connected overnight. Ask me how I know.....

You won't have an issue at all. For peace of mind you might want to put a wireless temperature alarm in the bay that has a warning alarm. And yes, don't leave your water hose hooked up unless you have a heated water hose.

Thank you all for the help. Discovered how to use the bay heat with the aqua hot and the system heat which actually has an electric heater mounted in the bay with the dump valves, water hookups and tanks.
Concern now is the domestic fridge that has the ice maker hose between the back of the fridge and the wall vent. Thinking of putting some insulation there and using a heating pad as there is an electrical outlet for the fridge and one other item.

Did you mean "Dometic" and not "domestic""? If so, see if your Dometic fridge has a LAT switch: https://www.sundancecustomrv.com/dometic_ref_switch.pdf

Send a message via ICQ to Ivylog
I would just turn the ice maker off and disconnect the plastic water line at the solenoid and then put some insulation around the solenoid.
The A hot has a Tstat and heater in the water bay so you’ll be fine.

One overnight at 15 degrees caused a pneumatic valve to ice up. My suspension air bags would not inflate in the AM. I tried to drive a few miles. Don't do it! Had to stop and wait for a warm up. Cycling the jacks must have cycled the valve electrically and it finally shifted open. Bleeding your air tanks manually in advance of your trip (if you can) may help with the moisture. Thank you for the advice. Will have to check how to gain access to the bottom back of the fridge. Not sure how they got the beast in the place that it is.
Another thought is that with the fridge on, the fridge’s back panel should generate enough heat to keep the line from freezing, especially if i block and insulate the outside vent panel.

Don’t think we are going to open the slides or level on our stops during freezing temps to conserve heat and not risk leveling jacks or air bags not inflating
