Trickle Charger v. Simple Disconnect

I'm putting my Newmar (9 YO) in storage this winter at a near (6 miles away) indoor garage. Four month's storage & I probably will not be visiting. Disconnect? or hook up a Battery Tender. Both the diesel batteries and/or house batteries ??

On my Corvettes - I simply have the battery disconnect switches for the winter hiatus.

To be on the safe side, I would provide some method of maintaining the batteries. If you have a 3 stage converter/charger and the chassis batteries are also charged by it, I would just plug in the motor home. If the converter/charger is 3 stage, but doesn't charge the chassis batteries, I would add a Trik-L-Charge.

trickle charge/float charge is best for your b+, period.

Our coach has the three stage inverter/charger, but everything else (13 batteries); four wheelers, lawnmowers, snowblowers, boats all have trickle chargers going. I got tired of replacing batteries especially since they are getting very expensive.
