Trip from Prince George BC to Hope to Thunder Bay Ontario
I am planning a Round Trip in a 38 foot motorhome towing in Jully from St Louis Mo to Bamff and Jasper National Parks of Canada and home through Prince George BC and Hope BC then taking Hy 3 to Hwy 1 and on to Thunder Bay Ontario and then to Door County, Chicago and back to St Louis. 2 month total.
I am wondering how the roads are particularly hw 3 and both hwy 3 and hwy 1 for Diesel Fuel. I like to get fuel every 400 to 500 miles.

I am also wondering if Thunder Bay Ontario is worth stopping at on our way to Door County Wisconsin. ALso how is the Costal drive along Hwy 61 from Thunder Bay to Deluth. is it RV friendly and worth it from a sight seeing standpoint?

Not a problem. There are plenty of fuel stations that have diesel along your route.
McBride to PG will be the longest stretch, but it's only 200 km (120 miles)
Banff to Jasper will be the highlight of your trip.

If I could offer a bit, having made the trip across Canada several times. Once you get back to Hope, take the #3 all the way to Medicine Hat, Alberta. The #3 thru southern BC is some of Canada's most pituresque areas, its a drive your shouldn't miss..
Medicine Hat to Kenora, Ont is mainly prairie ...
Fuel is not an issue.

Just did a good part of BC Highway 3 from Hope to Castlegar. Fuel in every town (lots of people with equipment so lots of diesel usage), though there may be a choice of just one station in smaller communities (e.g., Midway). Ran with a max of 1/2 tank to save on weigh over the climbs. Paulson summit between Grand Forks and Castlegar is pretty high, and Salmo Creston is the highest elevation all-year road in Canada (or so I've been told). Control your speed & check your brakes going downhills. I noted some of the highway descents don't have any runaway lanes

I stop at the KOA in Thunder Bay to decompress. Very large site with a good store and lots of amenities. I have found Flying J to be the most expensive fuel station. I look for First Nations fuel stops as the taxes are less. Drove the #3 to #1 route this past September. The #3 route is a bit more twisty than #1. This year its #5 to #16 thru Edmonton to Winterpeg. Happy trails!
